Here is a short clip of Egypt with a keen eye on capturing the essence of the Arabic speaking nation. Shot for a tourism programme in late 2009, this short feature by Javier Morgade surprises us with captivating moments of Egypt's culture and its people.

Shot on a 5D mk II and Glidetrack HD, Masr truly captures still poetic moments in motion picture format with such grace and finesse, forgoing the highly commercialised icons like the pyramids and pharaohs. A nation is always about its people and their way of life, and I think through these beautiful portraits of the natives depicted in their daily routines is a great way to mesmerise and attract people to the country.

This is a great source of inspiration for my future travel video projects.
