The fourth mission, should you choose to accept it, looks to be an exciting and fulfilling one.

Directed by Brad Bird (of The Incredibles and Up fame), Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol will be his first live-action debut feature. Brad Bird has always been delivering great animations (I especially loved Up) and I'm sure he will deliver quality even though he hasn't performed any significant live-action filmmaking prior.

Did we also add that there's Jeremy Renner starring opposite Tom Cruise as the mysterious Agent Brandt whom Ethan Hunt will try hard to ascertain his allegiance? Photographed in Dubai (where Cruise is reported to have performed his own stunts on the Burj) and based on a story by both previous installment's Director J.J. Abrams and Cruise, this will be one that proves hard to be under our radar this winter.

The first trailer has recently been released as an attached trailer to Transformers: Dark of the Moon in the US, here's a look if you don't have it attached to your TF3 screening in your region or have yet to visit the cinemas:

Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol opens 16 December 2011 and will also be available in the IMAX format.
