Although not getting our eyes on the 6 minutes prologue attached to the IMAX screening of Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol over here in our region, the theatrical trailer for Nolan's highly anticipated film has finally hit the web on iTunes Trailer.
Upon scrutiny of the two minutes trailer, it's probably not a surprise that not much is revealed of the plot here (which is good in a spoiler-free manner). This is much in line with Christopher Nolan pre-release strategy, just like how he did for The Dark Knight.
We get treated to Anne Hathaway as Catwoman, together with glimpses of Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate and Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake. Bane appears in vile (with his breathing mask that had gotten quite a fair bit of attention where some could not hear ad comprehend whatever he said) as we also get to see a football field receive destruction. Mayhem pursues in Gotham as we witness prisoners taking charge to induce chaos, amidst the iconic viral chanting that we have all grown familiar to by now. Also, if you notice that there isn't a lot of Batman (albeit a second or two) and Bale is seen much in his flesh as Bruce Wayne.
Although the theatrical trailer doesn't reveal much, it does get us hyped in excitement. The trailer breeds a sense of epicness and grandeur.
The way Nolan plans for.
