What could have been a better campaign booster for the Weinsteins with "The Artist" carving out a remarkable path distinctly ahead of others in the race towards the Oscars? While "The Tree of Life", "Moneyball", and "Drive" shared some limelight with an award or two each, it did seem incomparable to "The Artist".
