The 18th Screen Actors Guild Awards had just announced its nominations and it's possibly an excellent insight to the Best Acting categories. Building on the multiple recognition in terms of wins and nominations, SAG nominated Melissa McCarthy under the Best Supporting Actress category. Looks like the comedy genre really does own its rewarding moments and will actually stand a chance to be taken seriously if performed well. It's good to see that the voters have a good sense of humour this award season.
Other interesting nominations include DiCaprio and some of the cast of "The Help". Previously undermined by the other hot favourites, would the SAG recognition help to propel them somewhat ahead in the race?
