New York Film Critics Online Awards 2011


The New York Film Critics Online Awards had just announced its list of winners as follow at the end of this article post.

Michel Hazanavicius' "The Artist" aced quite a number of significant awards namely, Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Use of Music. This would inevitably add further weight to the film's contendership in the award season. Albert Brooks of "Drive" continued to retain his wins in the Best Supporting Actor category and further firmed his roots in subsequent awards in the exact category. This highly reminds one of an earlier season with Christoph Waltz of "Inglourious Basterds". Also of note, Melissa McCarthy of "Bridesmaids" took home the Best Support Actress award.
